Peace By Piece [Intentional Communities in the Pursuit of Shalom]

St. Benedict upheld that “hospitality maintains a prominence in the living (Christian) tradition. The guest represents Christ and has a claim on the welcome and care of the community.”  Here at Peace-by-Piece we want to live by this rule of Hospitality.  Hospitality of course is not a practice but a way of life; a way of life that brings about Shalom and offers the world a particular Christian ethic.  Thus we want to offer our houses to anyone who would enjoy a warm home.  This said, hosting 800 or more attendees can be a logistical nightmare, so free housing will have to be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.  We have two options for your stay in Searcy.

1) For families or individuals that would want to be hosted, local Christians are opening their homes up for you.

2) For those that would rather stay in a local hotels you can check on our Maps page on this website.

Please email
nmichael@harding.edu to request a housing form.  All housing information will be provided in your registration packets available at the Conference.
